Egypt will provide 5,000 seasonal workers to help meet the growing needs of Greece’s agricultural sector under a pilot scheme agreed by the two countries on Tuesday.

The Appeals Prosecutor responsible for declarations of wealth, or “pothen esches” in Greek, submitted a motion on Tuesday for Parliament to retract the immunity of MP Andreas Patsis to allow him to face criminal charges over his financial statements.
The amendment concerns the deadline for submission of proposals to the state aid program “NEW INDUSTRIAL PARKS”.
