Greek Australian to spearhead efforts to combat extremism in Victoria

Following a rise in antisemitic incidents across Australia and Victoria and a terrorist bombing of a synagogue, the premier of Victoria has appointed a Greek Australian George Lekakis to head an advisory group to spearhead efforts to combat extremism, strengthen social cohesion and foster unity.
