A two-hour meeting with the regional governors and the mayors of the 19 border islands, where a significant reduction in VAT will apply from January 1, 2026, was held on Wednesday by Economy and Finance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis, along with Alternate and Deputy Ministers Nikos Papathanasis, Thanos Petralias and Giorgos Kotsiras.
