Opposition chief says PM exploiting public monument for political gain

Nikos Androulakis, leader of the main opposition PASOK party, on Wednesday criticized Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis over plans to regulate activity around the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier – an iconic monument outside Parliament in Athens that has often served as a focal point for demonstrations – saying he was exploiting a public monument for political gain.
