Checks in EYP were inadequate, former watchdog chief says at wiretapping trial

The inspections conducted by Greece’s independent privacy watchdog ADAE in the headquarters of the country’s intelligence agency EYP during its investigation into a sprawling wiretapping scandal targeting government ministers and journalists were inadequate, the body’s former head, Christos Rammos, told court on Tuesday.
