Cretan musician Giannis Xylouris dies at 83

Giannis Xylouris, known as Psarogiannis, a leading figure of traditional Cretan music and a member of the legendary Xylouris musical clan, fronted by the late Nikos Xylouris, a cultural icon, and the more radical Antonis Xylouris, best known as Psarantonis, died Thursday at the age of 83.
