A ‘thank you’ from Cyprus’ displaced children

Having set off from Limassol, the Patras passenger ship sailed into the port of Piraeus on the morning of September 22, 1974, carrying hundreds of Greek-Cypriot refugee children who had been sent off to safety during the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
