Appeals court increases sentences in landmark homophobic assault ruling

A court in Hania, Crete, delivered this week a landmark ruling for LGBTQI+ rights in Greece, increasing the prison sentences of three French nationals convicted of a brutal homophobic assault, after formally recognizing the hate-driven motive behind the attack.
