The bulk of the “Achilles’ Shield” program – a five-level defense system encompassing anti-tactical ballistic, anti-air, anti-ship, anti-submarine, and anti-drone measures – projected at around 2.8 billion euros, is expected to be operational by 2027, according to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
