Crackdown launched on tobacco smuggling racket with ‘Greek Mafia’ links

Police launched simultaneous operations in different parts of Greece on Thursday morning as part of a major crackdown on an organized crime racket that specializes in illegal tobacco products and is also believed to be connected to violence involving the so-called “Greek Mafia.”
