Former police officer Epaminondas Korkoneas was sentenced to life imprisonment without mitigation by a Mixed Jury Court of Appeal in Lamia on Wednesday, nearly 17 years after he fatally shot 15-year-old Alexandros Grigoropoulos in Athens.
