The government and PASOK clashed over the Tempe disaster on Friday, following accusations from PASOK spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas, who claimed that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis lied when he stated shortly after the accident that there was no illegal cargo on the freight train.
