Greece: Lausanne Treaty refers ‘to religious, not ethnic’ minority in Thrace

Greece on Monday reiterated that the Treaty of Lausanne, the text of the 1923 agreement that established the borders of Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey after the end of World War I, “is clear explicitly refers to a religious and not an ethnic minority in Thrace.”
