Greek PM calls for reunification of Cyprus on anniversary of 1974 invasion

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Sunday marked the 51st anniversary of Turkey’s invasion of Cyprus, describing it as a “dark anniversary” that continues to evoke the memory of “raw violence, loss and displacement,” while also reinforcing the call for the island’s reunification.
