The Italian frigate Virginio Fasan, the second Bergamini-class ship of interest to the Hellenic Navy, is docked at the port of Piraeus. On Monday, a Greek Navy team overseeing the FREMM frigate procurement program is visiting the vessel for inspection, following a similar assessment of the Carlo Bergamini a few weeks ago.
