A swan, a great white pelican, a Levant sparrowhawk and dozens of other birds were released back into their natural habitat at Lake Kerkini on Monday, as part of an initiative by the wildlife rescue groups Alkyoni, which is based on the island of Paros, and Thessaloniki’s Action for Wildlife.
