Satellite imagery of Lake Mornos, an artificial reservoir in central Greece that supplies drinking water to about half of the country’s population, shows that a steady decline in water levels throughout most of 2025 was temporarily halted in late 2025 and early 2026, following recent rainfall and a seasonal increase in inflows.
