Limassol wildfire hit key Natura 2000 habitats in Cyprus, says eco group

A major wildfire on the outskirts of Limassol on Cyprus’ southern coast has destroyed ecologically critical landscapes, burning through parts of three Natura 2000 protected areas, according to environmental organization BirdLife Cyprus.
