More than two-thirds of Europeans see their countries as under threat, survey finds

A new Eurobarometer survey released Friday ahead of the Munich Security Conference shows that a majority of Europeans perceive their countries as increasingly under threat and support a stronger role for the European Union in defense. Investment in defense and security, as well as EU space programs, are widely seen as crucial for addressing security, environmental and economic challenges.
