Mothers in Greek women’s prison protest unsafe conditions

A broken sink that flooded the floor every time someone tried to cook, exposed electrical wires, missing bolts in the playground where children played, and rusty nails on the swings – these are just a few of the hazardous conditions reported by imprisoned mothers at the Female Prison of Eleonas near Thiva in central Greece.
