No projects in the East Mediterranean can go ahead without Turkish consent, Turkish defense ministry officials have asserted in response to news that Greece and Cyprus, along with Israel, have resumed preparatory work on the Great Sea Interconnector, a project intended to link their respective electrical grids via undersea cable.
