In 2026, several significant historic buildings along Athens’ Panepistimiou Street will undergo restoration. The Koupas Estate, between Voukourestiou and Kriezotou streets, is currently wrapped in scaffolding; the Schliemann-Melas Mansion, which also houses the Ideal cinema, is awaiting the green light; and the Serpieri Mansion has likewise entered the restoration process.
