Union chief denies embezzlement accusations, says he won’t step down

The president of Greece’s biggest private-sector union, GSEE, Giannis Panagopoulos has denied allegations linking him to an alleged embezzlement scheme involving education and training funds, saying the case amounts to “character assassination.”
