The Project Preparation Facility Unit (PPF) of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations S.A. (“Growthfund”)) was designated by the Governmental Committee under Law 4799/2021 as the competent authority for the maturation, conduct of the tender procedure, and monitoring of the project “Upgrade of the National Land Border Crossing Points,” within which the project “Upgrade of the Evzoni Road Border Crossing Station, Kilkis” is included. The total budget is €19,074,711.46 excluding VAT at 24%, i.e. a total value of €23,652,642.21. The scope of the Project is the repair and upgrade of the existing facilities of the Evzoni Border Crossing Station in the Regional Unit of Kilkis through design and construction. The upgrade of this specific Border Crossing Station is of immediate priority for Greece’s compliance with International Law and its obligations under EU law. The Project is included in the Development Program of Strategic Significance Public Contracts and is funded by the National Development Program (NDP 2021–2025).
Growthfund, acting by mandate, in the name and on behalf of the beneficiary, conducts the tender in accordance with the provisions of Article 5B of Law 3986/2011 for the selection of the contractor. The procedure is open and will be conducted using the National System of Electronic Public Procurement (ESIDIS) (system number 218220) (Portal: www.promitheus.gov.gr).
