The US Navy’s aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford arrived Monday at the NATO Marathi Pier Complex in Souda Bay, Crete, where it is expected to remain for more than a week of repairs following a non‑combat fire that injured sailors and damaged parts of the ship.
